I played for Shelley Monas back in college in the 1980’s. One of the greatest softball minds I have ever seen. Not only great with developing pitchers and position players to become the very best player they can be, but develops them into being the best version of themselves. I am coaching high school softball still today and use what I learned from her in helping my players become their best!

I owe a lot to Coach Monas and her high school program for not only helping me develop my physical game, but my mental game as well. After my first Varsity loss freshmen year against 2005 State Champion, Akron Ellet, Coach Monas sat me down on our bus ride to our next game and together we created an imagery affirmation list. Coach Monas helped take my mental game to the next level which aided my team in our road to the Final Four that year.
